Welcome to Building Executive Functioning Skills in the Classroom!

Thank you for registering for Building Executive Functioning Skills in the Classroom!

This course is taught by our Executive Functioning Team. The instructional videos feature Marydee Sklar, the author of the Seeing My TimeĀ® curriculum. Julie Miller, owner of Executive Functioning Success responds to discussion posts and leads the live Q & A.

There are a few things you will need to do to get ready for the course, so please read through each lesson in this section completely to prepare for the first week of lectures.

Lectures will be published each week on Monday morning by 9am Pacific Time.

Please click the green "complete and continue" box in the top right corner of the screen. It will show the lesson as checked off on your left hand menu of the course. That will also show us how much of the course you have completed as the weeks progress.

Though the majority of this course will be pre-recorded, make sure to add the following LIVE webinar dates to your calendar. The live sessions are optional. They recorded and uploaded to the classroom the same day.

  • July 11, Friday 9:00 AM Pacific Time
  • August 1, Friday 9:00 AM Pacific Time

If you are interested in receiving a certificate of completion, weekly responses in discussions are required.

NOTE: While we do not provide CEU's for this course, you may earn documentation of completion, contingent on viewing all of the lessons and adding comments and replies in the comment section each week. This certificate will document a total of 14 professional development hours. It is up to each individual student to contact their professional accrediting agency to determine if this course and its certificate will meet your requirements for CEU's or PDU's.

Finally, don't forget to sign up for our newsletter if you haven't already!

Let us know if you have any questions. Please email Kathleen at [email protected] if you have any need.

I am looking forward to getting started!

Julie
